Personally, I like the 'Beginning of Autumn' one. Your use of watercolour on the canvas really brings out your style and ethnic background. There's a washed out look for the leaves and petals, but I think it emphasizes your style. Nice work.
that bird is just incredible! i really enjoy your style of art. it reminds me of the time when i was in china. i think its cool how your name/date in chinese looks like artwork in itself :)
in the class i ask you about "what kind of material did u use for painting like this?" because first place i love your skill of making this kind of art pieces, looks like blending together with your paint awesome ! please teach me later :)
I like the most your paintings in Chinese paint. To make a painting like one of yours, I think, is not easy. As you said, an Chinese-painting artist must know (and be good) at writing Chinese in order to paint well. At that point, I really admire Chinese traditional paintings. All of your paintings are extremely unique. They stand out of all other pieces of art that I saw in the critique. Your artworks make me want to paint one like that!
The "spying " remains me of Chen Wenling- the dramatic facial expression, and body language.
ReplyDeletefreak and interesting..!
